Jose Lain is a music producer, songwriter, and sync licensing specialist with a strong presence in the entertainment industry.
Hailing from Mexico City, Jose began his musical journey at the age of nine, initially training in classical music before discovering a passion for contemporary music and songwriting.
Jose’s work has been prominently featured in various high-profile sync placements, including MTV’s The Challenge, the movie A New York Story, the documentary A Horse Named Winx, and FOX’s America’s Weather Now, to name a few.
Jose has collaborated with artists like Jordyn Dodd-Waddington (Secret Road), Adaline (Cadence Records), Little Monarch (Secret Road, Riptide Music Group), and LeyeT (Angry Mob). Crafting music that connects with diverse audiences and thrives across various platforms.

After earning a dual major in Songwriting and Contemporary Writing & Production from Berklee College of Music, Jose moved to Los Angeles to further his career. He began working with the label Silver Gun Records as a producer and songwriter, and around the same time, Jose gained significant recognition in Mexico by winning the prestigious Songs for Social Change contest, cementing his reputation as both a versatile producer and a socially conscious artist.
Jose co-founded CODA Music School in Mexico City, an innovative academy offering in-person and online music education, currently serving over 75 students with a team of 15 skilled professors. He also teaches advanced music production and composition at Tec de Monterrey, Mexico’s top-ranked university, sharing his expertise with the next generation of music professionals.
With a career defined by impactful sync placements and artistic versatility, Jose continues to leave his mark on the global music and entertainment industry.
